Enhance Brand Participation in Civic Engagement For Rock The Vote
Rock the Vote is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that builds youth political power and drives young people to the polls. For over 25 years, Rock the Vote has fused pop culture, music, art, and technology to create a culture of civic engagement for young people. During the past seven Presidential elections, Rock the Vote ran the largest nonprofit voter registration drives for young people, adding more than eight million new voters to the rolls. With proven tactics, we turn out our registrants at a rate of 81%, more than 30 points above the national youth turnout average, with 60% voting for the first time.

THE NEED
CauseIMPACTS was hired to help Rock the Vote engage Brands to do Civic Engagement campaigns and CSR initiatives during the 2018 Election. CauseIMPACTS supported the Brands for Democracy and Athletes Rock the Vote Initiatives in order to bring in funding to the non profit organization and ultimately engage unusual suspects in civic engagement and get-out-the-vote efforts.
CAUSEIMPACTS' SOLUTION
CauseIMPACTS developed toolkits for Rock the Vote to use that streamlined brand outreach and clarified the value add for brands. This work included brands such as Tinder, Patagonia, and Levis. We also developed Athletes Rock the Vote campaign strategies that were use dto get the WNBA Players Association, Golden State Warriors, and Saints Players to participate in Voter registration, activation, and Get out the vote efforts.
