Los Angeles City Performance Pilot Partnership (LA P3)
Strategic Planning and Group Facilitation

Project Type: CREATE IMPACT

THE NEED

The Los Angeles Performance Partnership Pilot (P3) is an unprecedented effort in Los Angeles to coordinate and integrate the delivery of education, workforce, and social services to disconnected youth ages 16 to 24 (defined as foster, juvenile justice involved, homeless, or out of school and out of work youth).  P3 is a regional attempt to coordinate the resources and services of major public institutions, community-based organizations, philanthropy, and private efforts to produce better outcomes for disconnected youth.

CAUSEIMPACTS' SOLUTION

CauseIMPACTS was hired by the City of Los Angeles’s Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) and UNITE-LA to facilitate regional collaborative meetings, identify best practices for engaging disconnected youth, develop and facilitate trainings, and contribute to the creation of the LA P3 Strategic Plan. The resulting LA P3 multi-agency system structure model increases availability and coordination of services, while reducing overlap and gaps between agencies so youth are served more quickly and holistically.
